GetRef database list

These databases are currently available in GetRef. These are databases requested to date, and this list does not indicate the full scope of GetRef. Additional databases can be added, where the service provider allows their content to be searched: please contact edina@ed.ac.uk to discuss adding databases.

Note on authentication

The UK Access Management Federation does not provide any mechanism for authenticating or authorizing machine-to-machine access. Service providers are obliged implemented their own systems for access control.

An authorised site representative should arrange for access to services, which usually involves requesting a username and password from the service provider. When this has been done, contact edina@ed.ac.uk to arrange for access via GetRef. Generally, this will only need to be done once to cover all of the services offered by a single provider.
